My name is Nathan Bombardier and I'm the Husky Real Food Challenge member of the week! I’ve been with HRFC since Autumn 2014. It is my first year studying as an undergraduate here at UW and I currently study sociology and labor. Ever since I worked as a cook in high school my interest in food systems has been steadily growing. Husky Real Food Challenge gives me the opportunity to help change the way my peers and our University engage with food. While I have only been here for less than a year, organizing on campus has already given me the opportunity to build and participate in an amazing community of students who strive to change our food system. If you catch me off campus I’m most likely cooking up some real food or adventuring around Seattle via bicycle.
