Hi! I’m Megan Knight, your Husky Real Food Challenge member for this week! I’m a Freshman, and I’m originally from the East Coast (Vermont to be specific). I joined Husky Real Food Challenge because I saw the chance to make a difference in the sustainability and health of our campus. Since I grew up in a rural area I was surrounded by local, often organic food. That experience of connection to my food, and to my community, is something I feel like everyone should get the chance to experience! In Husky Real Food Challenge, I get to meet and work with other passionate students who want to improve the UW food! I’m so excited to be in the club for the next three years, and to watch UW food get better and better.
